FE college capital investment strategy
The government’s capital investment plans are outlined in the Further education college capital investment strategy. It sets out key priorities, an outline delivery plan and the creation of the College Capital Investment Fund (CCIF). The strategy:
- details the creation of a £550 million investment programme targeted at colleges
- sets set out the key policy objectives for the further education sector.
- sets out how the SFA will work with the sector on implementing these policies
- sets out how these improved facilities will contribute to improving the skills of the nation’s workforce , which is central to the government’s industrial strategy.
