Intellectual property research publications commissioned by the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) covering general intellectual property.

If you have any queries about our research programme please contact our research team: research@ipo.gov.uk.

The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) is undertaking extensive research to build a more comprehensive picture of why applicants use IP. This research aims to build the IPO’s evidence base on the strategic drivers for IP and the impact this has on IP demand. Further details on this research can be found on the Building the evidence base on the drivers for IP demand.

If you would like the opportunity to tender for the IPO research please register your interest with our procurement department: procurement@ipo.gov.uk.

Older IP in general research publications are available from The National Archives.
