Annual reports and accounts review the Department for Transport’s activities over the course of the year. They provide highlights of projects and progress that has been made in meeting departmental objectives.

DfT OLR Holdings Limited

DfT OLR Holdings Limited (DOHL) is a wholly-owned company of the Secretary of State for Transport.

DOHL performs the role of an Operator of Last Resort Holding Company on behalf of DfT by maintaining the continuity of passenger rail services if train operations are moved into government ownership.

General Lighthouse Fund accounts consolidate the General Lighthouse Authorities’ (GLAs) accounts. The main fund is maintained by the Department for Transport and the light dues collection accounts are maintained by Trinity House. The GLAs comprise:
