Civil service pay guidance

This guidance provides a framework within which all civil service departments will set pay for in the relevant financial year.

This annual guidance covers pay setting arrangements for civil servants throughout the civil service, including ministerial and non-ministerial departments, executive agencies and for public sector employees in non-departmental public bodies. It provides a framework for all civil service departments to plan annual pay awards to their staff and prepare their pay remits in the relevant financial year.
