The Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) ‘Monthly statistics of building materials and components’ presents detailed information on selected building materials.
The publication contains monthly data on price indices, bricks and concrete blocks. It contains quarterly data on sand and gravel, slate, concrete roofing tiles, ready-mixed concrete and imports/exports of construction products. Cement data is updated on an annual basis.
Each edition of the publication consists of a commentary and data tables (in Excel and ODS formats).
Supporting documents are available on this collection page, in line with the code of practice for official statistics, including a calendar of future publication dates.
