Call to run a project to build capacity within SME’s – working with employers and learning providers to pilot work experience opportunities in the Humber LEP area.

Through this Call we are seeking a programme of activity - to provide employers with practical and coherent routes to engage with education and training institutions to help create work ready young people adding value to their business in the future.

The project will establish a robust pilot work experience programme across the Humber Region. Focus will be to engage with employers in curriculum design and delivery, providing meaningful interactions with young people – i.e. tasters, work experience, mentors, meet the employer sessions etc.

We are seeking one programme which must deliver across the whole of the Humber. Collaborative bids are encouraged.

Approximately £500,000 of ESF is available.

Completion date

Projects must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed project start date, however the ESF Managing Authority reserves the right to vary the maximum duration in exceptional circumstances. All ESF Projects must be completed by 31st December 2023. Project costs cannot be incurred beyond this date.
