What you’ll need when you contact DVSA
You’ll need to give your:
- name as it appears on your driving licence
- full address
- date of birth
- driving licence number
- theory test booking reference (if you’ve booked a test)
Webchat
You can use the webchat service to contact DVSA about your theory test (open 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
You can use WhatsApp to message DVSA about your theory test.
You can send a message at any time, but DVSA will only reply between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You cannot use WhatsApp to call DVSA, make a payment or book a test.
