SW08260 - Help and Support for HMRC Members: Planned Downtime

The service is normally available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

There will be occasions however when the service is not available because we:

  • are enhancing the service
  • have planned downtime to ensure the resilience of our service
  • are fixing a problem that has occurred.

Planned Downtime

Unless unavoidable, no system downtime will be scheduled on a weekday during the hours of 08:00 to 18:00.

Where downtime is necessary, wherever possible advance warning will be given, on the Shared Workspace Intranet site.

Emergency downtime

Where the service is withdrawn at short notice an urgent message will be issued, through My Services, to advise all HMRC Members of the position and expected duration of thedowntime.
