Schools financial efficiency: sharing best practice
Information about schools and other organisations offering support with schools' financial management.
Peer support within the sector is one of the best drivers of improvement. There is already some excellent practice in schools and this page will help you find and use it. Below are links to sector organisations providing information, training and support for schools, and an invitation to submit your own case studies to help other schools.

Their advice is based on practical experience and is distinct from any advice that schools may receive from DfE. Please contact these schools directly if you are interested in receiving support.
Share your good practice
Many schools manage their budgets very well. Our schools financial health case studies illustrate some of the ways in which schools and academies have developed effective financial management practices. They provide examples of excellent practice from which school leaders and governors can learn.
We will produce more case studies on a regular basis, and would welcome any good practice examples or case studies you would like to share. Please use our Schools financial efficiency: case study template (MS Word Document, 83.6KB) and submit this to us using either of the enquiry forms below.
