Avoid HM Land Registry requisitions: variations between the register, transfer and charge

Tips and video on how to avoid requisitions about variations between the register, transfer and charge.

Tips

A disposal of the legal estate must be made by all the registered proprietors. Avoid problems by:

  • checking the name carefully. If a person’s name in a deed is different from that in the register, you need to account for that change, even if that person is coming off the register
  • providing evidence to account for any discrepancies and confirm the correct name to be entered in the register
