  1. Section 2 has been amended to reflect the current practice for non-Business e-services customers.

  2. Section 2 has been amended to include additional ways to reply to requisitions.

  3. Section 2 has been amended to advise how to send a document in reply to a requisition for our customers who are not Business e-services customers.

  9. Section 5.1 has been amended to clarify we require documentary evidence where delays are caused by third parties and that any personal information supplied will be handled in accordance with our personal information charter.

  10. Section 2 has been updated to include how to ask us to use an alternative email address in correspondence when the application has been submitted using the portal.

  11. Section 2 has been updated to clarify that we will use the email address entered on submission of an application in our communications with customers, unless there is a specific request to use an alternative address.

  12. We have updated section 3 regarding the information we require to consider granting an extension of time, following the increase in the period we allow for reply to a requisition from the statutory 20 working days to 60 working days. We’ve added an additional scenario to section 5.1.

  13. Section 2 has been amended to include details of a change to the requisition reply period.

  14. Section 2 has been amended to reflect changes to our warning of cancellation procedure. Sections 3 and 5 have been amended to clarify our guidance on applying for an extension of time.

  15. Section 2 has been amended to remind Business e-services customers they can reply to requisitions electronically.

  16. Section 6.1 has been amended to remove a reference to outline applications following the revocation of rule 54 of the Land Registration Rules 2003 by the Land Registration (Amendment) Rules 2018 coming into force on 6 April 2018. It is no longer possible to secure priority for an application by way of an outline application. References in this guide to ‘business days’ have been changed to ‘working days’. Sections 5.1 and 6.2 have been updated to reflect the introduction of Land Transaction Tax for transactions affecting land in Wales completed on or after 1 April 2018.

  17. Section 2 has been amended to reflect the provision of email addresses when submitting e-DRS applications using the HM Land Registry portal.
