Applying for the Youth Investment Fund pilot

Funding available to pilot at least four new youth facilities in advance of the launch of phase 2.

Details

Funding is being released through the Youth Investment Fund (YIF) to pilot a minimum of 4 new youth facilities.

We are looking for 4 organisations delivering youth work to each pilot one of up to 4 new facility concepts and the delivery process associated with their construction. The pilot will test facilities designed to meet the needs of smaller youth organisations, with space requirements ranging from circa 100m2 to 350m2.

Each of the 4 sites should be:

  • situated in one of YIF’s eligible investment locations
  • able to demonstrate demand for youth services
  • available immediately to accommodate a building project (subject to planning permission).

Applicants must own the site or have legal rights to develop on the site.

The selected organisations will receive the funding and project support needed to create a single pilot facility, which will be delivered with the support of YIF-provided construction experts during 2022 and 2023.
