Main findings

Overall confidence in GCSE, A level, and Applied General qualifications

  1. General, overall confidence in GCSEs and Applied General qualifications was consistent with wave 20, while general, overall confidence in A levels decreased slightly and returned approximately to pre-pandemic values.
  2. There were no statistically significant changes in general confidence of GCSEs or Applied General qualifications for any individual stakeholder group.
  3. General confidence in A levels decreased compared to wave 20 for all stakeholder groups apart from parents.
