These statistics are badged as Official Statistics in Development (previously labelled ‘experimental statistics’). Our statistical practice is regulated by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR). The OSR sets the standards of trustworthiness, quality and value in the Code of Practice for Statistics that all producers of official statistics should adhere to.

Healthcare-associated infection (HCAI) surveillance data on Escherichia coli (E. coli) Klebsiella species (Klebsiella spp.), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa), meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and meticillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) bacteraemia and Clostridioides difficile (C. difficile) infection from independent sector (IS) organisations.
