Special consideration in GCSE and A Level: summer 2017 exam series

Number of adjustments to the marks of candidates who have not been able to demonstrate attainment because of exceptional circumstances.

Reason for change:: This statistical release has been delayed from 23 November 2017 to 6 December 2017 as more time is needed to process late data and ensure appropriate quality of data. Ofqual has collected data for special consideration requests in a new data template this year, designed to collect more fine grained data which is for the benefit of users. This led to some delays in receiving full, accurate data from awarding organisations.
