Main findings

The report shows that from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026:

• 352,227 men were offered screening, 82.4% were tested

• 1,869 abdominal aortic aneurysms (aorta measuring ≥3.0cm) were found

• 14,299 men were on surveillance at the end of the year and 22,372 surveillance scans were undertaken during the year

• 685 men with large aneurysms (aorta ≥5.5cm), or an aorta ≥4.0cm that has grown 1cm or more in 1 year, suitable for intervention and not declining were appropriately referred for surgery
