Main findings

The report shows that from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025:

  • 337,752 men were offered screening, 82.3% were tested

  • 1,907 abdominal aortic aneurysms (aorta measuring ≥3.0cm) were found

  • 14,696 men were on surveillance at the end of the year and 22,931 surveillance scans were undertaken during the year

  • 728 men with large aneurysms (aorta ≥5.5cm), or an aorta ≥4.0cm that has grown 1cm or more in 1 year, suitable for intervention and not declining were appropriately referred for surgery
