This dataset contains HM Land Registry Transaction unique identifier from the Price Paid dataset and Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRN).
UPRNs are unique 12-digit numbers created by local authorities and Ordnance Survey. Every addressable location in the UK gets a UPRN for the lifetime of the property. Ordnance Survey uses AddressBase and OS NGD Address: GB Address to link property information to a map whenever possible.
Transaction unique identifier and UPRNs can only be linked if there is relationship between Ordnance Survey’s AddressBase address and the Transaction unique identifier
Using UPRNs and Transaction unique identifiers together allows you to match and merge datasets from different sources.
Using or publishing our UPRN Look Up Table dataset
If you use or publish our UPRN Look Up Table dataset, you must add the following attribution statements:
- Contains HM Land Registry data © Crown copyright and database right [year of supply or date of publication]. This data is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- UPRNs contain OS data © Crown copyright and database rights [year of supply or date of publication]. This data is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Please note that, if you use the Look Up Table dataset in conjunction with address data from Price Paid Data, your use of the address data remains subject to the Price Paid Data licensing conditions.
We update the data on the 20th working day of each month. You can download the:
- current month UPRN Look Up Table datset as CSV file (CSV, 4MB)
- current month UPRN Look Up Table dataset as a text file (TXT, 4MB)

Accuracy of the data
Price paid information is not personal, but property-related information. All sales that have not been lodged with HM Land Registry or sales that were not for value are excluded. See Data excluded from Price Paid Data for more information.
