My Right Honourable Friend, the Home Secretary, has today laid before the house, the Police Grant Report (England and Wales) 2014 to 2015 (HC 1043). The report sets out my Right Honourable Friend, the Home Secretary’s, determination for 2014 to 2015 of the aggregate amount of grant that she proposes to pay under section 46(2) of the Police Act 1996, and the amount to be paid to the Greater London Authority for the mayor’s office for policing and crime.

This statement also includes details of other funding streams that the Home Office, the Department of Communities and Local Government and the Welsh Government intend to provide to the police in 2014 to 2015.
