The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Aurora Manufacturing Limited.

Non-hazardous waste physical treatment facility: The proposal is to operate a waste facility that comprises the receipt of post-consumer granulated waste plastic packaging to compound extrude into polymer product for re-sale. Treatment consists of plastic compound extrusion of pre-granulated plastic using heating process. There can be associated manual screening and removal of any contamination. The site has requested to be permitted to 29,999 tonnes per annum.
