1. Notice on the granting of permission for an undertaker to withdraw from the non-household retail market
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by regulation 11 of the Exit Regulations, grants permission for the following undertaker(s) to withdraw from the non-household retail market on the relevant exit date.
The Secretary of State is satisfied that granting permission for the undertaker(s) listed to withdraw from the non-household retail market is not contrary to the interests of the public or a section of the public.
The Secretary of State is also satisfied that the undertaker(s) listed have complied with regulation 9 (notice of exit application).
In this notice:
- “acquiring licensee” has the meaning given by regulation 6
- “exit date” has the meaning given by regulation 8
- “Exit Regulations” means the Water and Sewerage Undertakers (Exit from Non-household Retail Market) Regulations 2016
- “undertaker” means a water undertaker or a sewerage undertaker that has made an application to the Secretary of State under regulation 4
