Details

The EIA has been updated to reflect policy changes made to the scheme since March 2022:

  • awards for homelessness
  • an additional living costs category for close family members
  • claim suspension and initial assessment processes
  • linking related claims
  • the definition of parent for those applying as a close family member
  • the definition of spouse for those applying as a close family member
  • people who lost settled status in the UK after 2 years overseas
  • updates to loss of access to employment category
  • updates to the eligibility criteria regarding continuous residence
  • state pension solution
  • update to the case work process – single casework operations
  • launch of the Windrush Compensation Advocacy Support Fund
