Your request
Please provide full details of all funding, payments, fees, levies, grants, or any other financial contributions received from Zoetis (including any UK subsidiary or related entity within the Zoetis corporate group) by:
1. The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), and
2. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra),
for each of the last five financial years.
For clarity, I am requesting:
* The total amount received from Zoetis in each financial year.
* A breakdown of the nature of the payments (for example: authorisation fees, inspection fees, pharmacovigilance fees, statutory levies, service charges, research funding, policy support, or any other category).
* Details of any specific projects, studies, surveillance programmes, advisory work, or regulatory services funded wholly or in part by Zoetis.
* Details of any indirect funding arrangements, including payments routed through third parties where Zoetis was the originating source.
* Copies of any agreements, memoranda of understanding, contracts, or formal arrangements relating to such funding.
If no funding has been received directly from Zoetis during the specified period, please confirm this explicitly.
If any part of this request is considered exempt from disclosure, please specify the exemption relied upon and provide the reasoning in accordance with the Act.
Our reply
The table below shows the fees and charges Zoetis and its UK subsidiaries (Pharmaq Ltd, Abaxis UK, Veterinary Pathology Group (VPG), Fish Vet Group, Jurox UK) have paid for the past 5 financial years (2020-2025).

There are no specific projects, studies, surveillance programmes, advisory work, or regulatory services funded wholly or in part by Zoetis or its UK subsidiaries.
There are no indirect funding arrangements, including payments routed through third parties where Zoetis or its UK subsidiaries were the originating source.
There are no agreements, memoranda of understanding, contracts or formal arrangements relating to such funding.
