The UK Advisory Panel for Healthcare Workers Living with Bloodborne Viruses (UKAP) specialist working group has compiled a list of EPPs and non-EPPs carried out in urology.

Each procedure has been categorised into the level of risk of bleed-back (EPP level 0 to 3) where injury to the healthcare worker could result in the worker’s blood contaminating the patient’s open tissues.

This is not an exhaustive list of all procedures carried out in urology, and is to be used as a guide only.
