If you are making a declaration using the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) follow the guidance in the UK Trade Tariff: volume 3 for CDS.

The last day for making import declarations on the CHIEF system has now passed. The last day for making export declarations on the CHIEF system is 30 November 2023.

The Customs Declaration Service is replacing CHIEF as the UK’s single customs platform.

Use this list to decide which airport International Air Transport Association (IATA) code and percentage you should use on CHIEF.

The list also has the location and name of the airport, as well as the country and the associated zone.
