Details

The consultation on reforming UK airspace policy also seeks views managing aircraft noise. This includes plans for an Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise (ICCAN). ICCAN would:

  • be a credible and authoritative voice on aviation noise issues
  • facilitate effective communication between industry and communities
  • provide expertise on noise management
