The Tree Production Innovation Fund (TPIF) closed for new applications on 29 July 2026.

Use these forms and guidance when applying for TPIF.

After you’ve read the guide ‘How to complete your TPIF application’, you can apply by completing the following documents:

  • application form
  • finance spreadsheet
  • project timeline
  • evidence of financial viability (if applicable)

Send these to tpif@forestrycommission.gov.uk by 11.55pm on 29 July 2026.

  1. TPIF has now closed for new applications.

  2. Updated to reflect that round 5 of the grant has opened for applications, and added TPIF challenges that applications should seek to address.

  3. Added a note confirming the grant is now closed.

  4. Removed wording around cumulative threshold as it no longer applies across all three nursery grants.

  5. Updated the 'Personnel costs' section in the 'How to complete your application' guidance to clarify overheads for personnel.
