This interim report is published by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) on behalf of the Review’s steering group and includes:

  • an outline of the steering group’s work to date, including its approach to evidence gathering and engagement, its approach to co-production and emerging themes
  • an overview of the next steps for the steering group ahead of presenting its recommendations to the Secretary of State in the autumn
  • annexes setting out the DWP evidence pack which was provided to the steering group as a starting point, as well as a summary of the findings from the steering group’s call for evidence
