On the agenda this week: The NHS Commissioning Board has published its planning guidance for commissioners for 2013-14, covering a set of outcomes against which to measure improvements; a review of quality assurance for NHS pathology services has been announced, following concerns at Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust in October about pathology testing of breast cancers; and six areas around England have begun projects to help improve access to psychological therapies for those with severe mental illnesses.
