Details

The Thames Estuary 2100 Plan is an adaptive strategy designed to manage tidal flood risk across 27 local council areas from Teddington to Shoeburyness.

  • flood defences perform well
  • accelerating sea level rise requires increased long-term investment, improved tidal forecasting, and a reassessment of future infrastructure needs
