This application for funding is now closed.
Following assessment of 78 expressions of interest received in June 2017, 36 local authorities will receive support from technical experts. The support will help them to plan networks for walking and cycling to meet the government’s aim to make walking and cycling the natural choice for short journeys, or as part of a longer journey by 2040 as set out in the Cycling and Walking Strategy.
