This is the executive summary of an interactive report presenting Ofqual’s equalities analysis of GCSEs, A levels and a subset of vocational and technical qualifications. This analysis highlights how differences in results between groups of students with different protected characteristics and socioeconomic status have changed in 2023 in relation to previous years.
Dr Ian Stockford, interim Executive Director for Standards, Research and Analysis, has published an article offering analysis of results for different groups of students taking GCSEs, A levels and a subset of vocational and technical qualifications.
