This report describes the work carried out by the Centre of Workforce Intelligence (CfWI) in support of the Health and Education National Strategic Exchange (HENSE) review group’s recommendations on medical and dental student intakes. The review is driven by the need to provide sustainable, high-quality healthcare for patients, and therefore the need to ensure effective longer-term workforce planning and better decision making.
