Details

These rules allow you to install habitat structures made of natural materials occupying up to 100m of a main river.

The structures must occupy less than:

  • half the width of the watercourse
  • 100m length of the watercourse
  • a quarter of the bank height

These rules do not allow the activity within:

  • 8 metres of flood defences
  • 50 metres of any river control works in or on the watercourse
  • the fish breeding season
