Superuser guide: newborn outcomes solution

Superuser access to the solution

All newborn outcomes solution centres (including laboratories) require a designated superuser.

As a laboratory, nurse or clinical user of the solution, you can apply for administrative rights to be added to your newborn outcomes solution account by contacting the support desk.

A superuser is responsible for ensuring the list of users for their centre is up to date. A current list of users for the centre can be found within the user tab at the top of the homepage.

A superuser can add new users to their newborn outcome solution centre by:

  • selecting ‘create user’ on the top right-hand side of the screen
  • entering a username and email address for the new user (an NHSmail address is preferable)
  • selecting the type of account required (centre admin/nursing user or reports)
  • entering the forename and surname of the new user
  • clicking ‘submit’

A superuser can edit the accounts of all users in their centre by:

  • selecting the username of the account that you wish to edit from the user list
  • amending relevant fields
  • clicking ‘submit’

A superuser can request that accounts are removed when they are no longer required by contacting the support desk.
