Our ESF provision can allow employed people to get free or subsidised training through their employer. This support could potentially be state aid, if it gives the employer a competitive advantage in the market or could affect trade within the European Union (EU).
As a public organisation, we must keep to European law and monitor the level of support we give to people employed by small and medium sized enterprises.
