Sexual and gender based violence assessment: Cox's Bazar Bangladesh, November 2017

Executive summary of the UK civilian experts' visit to Bangladesh to analyse the sexual and gender based violence affecting the Rohingya refugee community.



Two experts from the UK’s Deployable Civilian Expert roster visited Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh from 14 to 21 November. They assessed the needs of refugees in the Rohingya community who have been subjected to sexual and gender based violence.

This executive summary outlines their findings and includes 10 recommendations for future government response.
