This guidance is aimed at aviation organisations who are considering developing a security management system (SeMS).

The guidance explains the benefits of a SeMS and the importance of the accountable manager.

The accountable manager would be able to commit finance and resources to the SeMS. Ensuring security becomes a part of the daily operations of an organisation.
