Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has written to the Chair of the BMA expressing his disappointment at the decision
to call for industrial action.
The BMA has agreed to the proposal that ACAS return to facilitate further talks. Sir David Dalton has been appointed, and is ready to take negotiations forward with ACAS on behalf of the NHS and the government.
