This school workforce census 2015 guide is for:

  • local-authority-maintained schools and nurseries
  • city technology colleges
  • academies (including alternative provision academies - these are academies for children who aren’t able to attend school and may not otherwise receive suitable education)
  • free schools (including university technical colleges)
  • studio schools
  • pupil referral units - these are for children who aren’t able to attend school and may not otherwise receive suitable education
  • local authority children’s services
