This licence applied to birds listed on schedule 4 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. These are:

• honey buzzards
• golden eagles
• white-tailed eagles
• peregrine falcons
• goshawks
• marsh harriers
• Montagu’s harriers
• merlins
• ospreys
