This revised direction names the 2 new children’s services commissioners for Northamptonshire County Council. These appointments are effective from the date of the direction.
The appointment of these children’s services commissioners is to continue the work being done with the council to improve children’s services in the area following a full Ofsted inspection in June 2019. The commissioners will continue to work on moving children’s services into a children’s service trust.
This direction replaces the revised statutory direction issued to Northamptonshire County Council in June 2019.
