How schools and local authorities should respond to claims to the SEND Tribunal by parents who believe their child has been discriminated against because of a disability.

Details

This guidance is for a ‘responsible body’. This is the body responsible for the school, or for the activity during which there was allegedly discrimination.

A responsible body can include a:

  • governing body
  • local authority
  • school’s owner
