Bridon International was awarded £2.2 million from the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) towards constructing a £30 million state-of-the-art facility at Neptune Quay in Newcastle which will produce the largest and most complex multi-strand ropes in the world.

The project will create 39 jobs and safeguard an additional 150. A further 75 jobs have been created in the short-term during the initial construction phase.
