Report looking at how lifestyle change can help reduce levels of obesity.
This report considers the role of individual lifestyle choices and behaviour change in achieving public health targets. It focuses on 3 main areas:
- the concept of habit as it applies to lifestyle change
- how current research practices limit the application of research insights to public health practice
- actions that can be taken to improve future lifestyle change campaigns and interventions
This evidence review was commissioned as part of the Foresight project on tackling obesities.
