Through a series of questions and reference to evidence based interventions, it allows a group of local partners involved in working with offenders, to determine what would need to be done to reduce the inequalities in health of this group. It is one of a series of workbooks developed by the Health Inequalities National Support Team (HINST), while working with the 70 local authorities covering populations in England with the highest levels of deprivation and poorest health.
