Details

This research was commissioned to gain a better understanding of the:

  • motivations for employers using occupational health
  • factors influencing the shape and scope of occupational health
  • ways in which different employers use occupational health in practice

The sample for this research was drawn from the employers that had taken part in the ‘Sickness absence and health in the workplace: Understanding employer behaviour and practice’ survey. This research will be published later in 2019.

The findings of this research will help inform future policy development and reform of occupational health.
