Details

There will be a delay in the publication of NOIDs data for weeks 50 and 51. This data is expected to be available and published along with week 52 between 2 and 5 January 2024.

Registered medical practitioners in England and Wales have a statutory duty to notify a proper officer of the local authority, often the consultant in communicable disease control (CCDC), of suspected cases of certain infectious diseases.

These weekly reports analyse the number of suspected cases of notifiable illnesses in England and Wales in 2023.

All weekly data is provisional.
