This specification defines requirements for generating standard sticky labels with newborns' NHS numbers, to complete the newborn blood spot screening card.

Details

This output based specification (OBS) is for producing standard sticky labels, so all maternity units can print labels with the NHS number both in numeric format and as a linear barcode.

Maternity units should produce a sticky label with a barcoded NHS number. All newborn blood spot (NBS) screening cards should have this label.
