Details

NHS breast screening providers can use and adapt the relevant easy read format content from the letters above when communicating with individuals with a learning disability and others who struggle with written English.

The easy read invitation letter should be used together with a copy of the breast screening easy guide. The 3 easy read result letters – ‘normal result’, ‘recall to assessment’ and ‘technical recall’ – can be used and adapted as appropriate according to the person’s screening result.
